This is a newborn: Mother mentioned if the baby should have his tongue fixed because there is a family history. However, physician said there is no reason because there is no tongue tie and baby is doing fine. They billed tongue tie and claim is paying a significant amount higher.
Can someone let me know if this claim should be reprocessed because tongue tie is not something the baby has or since it was mentioned by the mother, it is now paying as a DRG with complications.
